When it comes to tequila, few brands can match the smoothness and quality of Casamigos. Founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman, Casamigos has quickly become one of the most sought-after tequilas on the market. 

The story of Casamigos begins with a group of friends who shared a love of tequila. George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman would often gather at their homes in Mexico and enjoy tequila together. They soon realized that they couldn't find a tequila that they truly loved, so they decided to create their own. They enlisted the help of a master distiller and began experimenting with different agave plants, water sources, and aging methods. After years of experimentation, they finally created the perfect tequila, which they named Casamigos, meaning "house of friends" in Spanish.

Casamigos tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, which is grown in the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico. The agave plants are hand-selected for maturity and quality, and are harvested at the peak of their maturity. After being harvested, the agave plants are cooked in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours. This gives the tequila its signature smoothness and sweetness.

After the cooking process, the agave is milled and fermented using a proprietary yeast strain. The fermented juice, or "mosto," is then distilled twice, once in a stainless steel pot still and once in a small copper pot still. This double distillation process gives the tequila its smoothness and removes impurities.

Casamigos offers a range of expressions, from the classic Casamigos Blanco, which is unaged, to the Casamigos Reposado, which is aged for 7 months in American oak barrels, and the Casamigos Añejo, aged for 14 months in American oak barrels. Each expression has its own unique flavor profile and is perfect for sipping or for use in cocktails.
