Bottled at 90 proof to mark Team 144, this Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey spent 30 months maturing in Owensboro, Kentucky, pouring an amber hue. The corn comes largely from Kentucky fields, with most of it grown in Daviess County. Its recipe combines 70% corn, 21% winter rye and 9% malted Two-Row and Six-Row barley, and that generous rye share brings a warming spice thread through the whiskey.
On the nose, cinnamon leads, backed by dried cherry and a faint touch of leather. The palate carries cinnamon again alongside vanilla, caramel and chocolate mint, while the finish stretches out dry with oak, pepper and a return of caramel. 750 ml, 45% ABV.
