Lot No #2 of Wolves' Malted Barley Series began with ten barrels distilled in 2012 from premium Irish barley and matured in New American Oak. Nine of those barrels were chosen and married together, then bottled at 110 proof (55% ABV) in a 750 ml format. Eleven years in wood gives the whiskey its layered character, shaped as much by the blending as by the time.
The palate opens sweet before turning dry, with a slow build of salinity and a long finish. Every bottle is hand wrapped in Italian sheepskin, giving the package a texture that matches the whiskey inside.
