Westward Milestone Edition No. 4 is the fourth annual Milestone release from Westward Whiskey of Portland, Oregon. It is drawn from a twenty-one-barrel solera holding some of the distillery's oldest whiskeys.
Blended by Miles Munroe, the edition takes its inspiration from Cognac and Armagnac, with most of the whiskey given secondary maturation in new casks added to the solera. The result is an American single malt shaped by that Cognac- and Armagnac-inspired cask influence.
This is a one-time release, bottled at 750 ml, with each bottle individually numbered.
