The oak caring leaves a bitter flavor for me. I definitely would not recommend this brand but it's also very inexpensive.

I didn’t know what to expect for a $9 bottle of bourbon but I was pleasantly surprised. I mixed it with some ginger ale and I’ve been drinking it since. It’s not middle or top shelf but it ain’t bad.

The booze itself is great. I ordered 2 very old barton bourbons. Shipping was quick. When I received my bottles, one had leaked. Although the seal on the top was intact, there was alcohol missing. I reached out to info@barbank.com three separate times and have heard nothing back. I was waiting to give a review before this issue was resolved but since they have asked for a review twice now, I guess they dont care to make this right.

It's ok. It's not good or bad really just ok. For less than $10 it's a good buy. Definitely better for a mixer than a sipper. I've paid more for worse before so would I buy it again. I probably will at some point. Currently I am trying a lot of different bourbons. I have discovered that I definitely lean towards wheated bourbon. It's just much smoother, sweeter and a more complex but pleasing palate.

I love the whiskey. You can see that some was lost during shipping. They shipped these bottles in a box on their sides so two of the bottles leaked significantly. Almost half a bottle was missing from one.
