Union Mezcal Uno Joven was the first release in the Mezcal Union range, an un-aged mezcal built from Espadin and Cirial agaves that spend 8 to 14 years reaching maturity. The agaves are cooked, fermented, and double-distilled before the liquid is blended, a process shaped by the values, cultures, and traditions of Mexico.
The aroma leads with pear, green applewood, smoke, and wet soil. Sipping brings Encino oak tree firewood, pear, and green apple, rounded out with earthy, herbal citrus. It works well in cocktails, including a Paloma. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750 ml bottle.
