Description
The Whistler Irish Whiskey Imperial Stout Cask is a triple distilled Irish whiskey bottled at 43% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. Freshly disgorged Whistler 7 year old single malt casks were filled with O'Hara's Stout, letting the rich flavours of the stout soak into the wood.
Those seasoned casks were then refilled with a blend of Irish malt and single grain whiskeys, which take on deeper notes of roasted coffee and cacao nibs from the stout-conditioned oak.
On the palate, creaminess from the cocoa carries through and pairs with subtle coffee tones, rounded out by hints of caramel.
