The Whistler Irish Whiskey Double Oaked is a hand-selected, premium Irish whiskey made in small batches from some of Ireland's finest malt and grain whiskeys. The Head Distiller chooses casks matured exclusively in ex-bourbon barrels, then moves the whiskey into the signature Oloroso sherry barrels for a further six months.
That second maturation is what gives this bottling its complex, full-bodied character. Salted caramel and vanilla jump out of the glass, followed by light oak spices and undertones of zesty citrus, honey and a hint of nuts.
Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
