Filled into a European oak sherry hogshead on April 6, 1993, this single cask matured until its bottling date of September 24, 2018. Master Blender Sarah Burgess chose the cask for this limited edition, which produced only 237 bottles and was released originally for the Americas market. It arrives at 51.4% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The sherry cask shows clearly across the palate: bright berry fruits and almond open the nose, followed by toffee, cinnamon, and vanilla. The finish runs long, with berry sweetness lingering alongside oak, and fruit, spice, and wood held in balance throughout.
