The character Glenrothes is known for comes through clearly: ripe orchard fruit, a lift of citrus, creamy vanilla and faint exotic spice running underneath.
Only 309 bottles were drawn from the two casks selected from that 1968 filling. On the palate it is warm and layered, with oak, spice and dried fruit leading into a smooth finish that holds for some time. Presented in a 750 ml bottle.
