Double oak maturation defines the style: the spirit rests first in traditional European oak before finishing in American oak casks, a combination that brings a distinctive smoothness along with notes of vanilla. In the glass it shows gold color, with floral aromas of summer meadows and tropical fruit, pineapple in particular.
The palate is well balanced and fruity, carrying those strong pineapple notes through. All barley is sourced from farms within a 50 mile radius of the Speyside distillery and distilled twice in copper pot stills.
