Description
Ode to the Embers takes its cue from the glow of a dying fire, bottled at 48.4% ABV in a 700 ml format. The whisky leans on the Spanish oak sherry casks that shape so much of the GlenDronach range, with long maturation and attentive wood selection building its depth.
The palate runs through dried cherries and spiced chocolate, followed by caramel, dried fruit and a lingering note of warm oak. It's a Highland single malt built in the traditional mould, where cask influence does most of the talking.
