Tanqueray was born in Bloomsbury, at the heart of the London gin scene. Founder Charles Tanqueray worked through some 300 recipes in pursuit of the definitive London Dry gin before arriving at the one. That founding vision still guides the Tanqueray family of gins more than 180 years on.
