Suerte takes its name from an old story about a farmer's wife who found 400 rabbits drinking the fermented juices of agave plants in her fields, gathered the nectar in jars and carried it back to the hacienda, where the first tequila shots were poured. She was later crowned Mayahuel, the Aztec Goddess of Tequila.
