Stella Rosa Platinum French Vanilla is an all-natural, semi-sweet, semi-sparkling white wine made in the small village of Santo Stefano Belbo. The Riboli Family blends several aromatic grape varietals, including Moscato Canelli, for a low-alcohol white at 5% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The grapes are harvested, pressed, centrifuged, then held cold as juice at 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Fermentation takes place at intervals throughout the year to keep the wine fresh and delicate, with the alcohol and the wine's natural carbonation developing in tandem. Once the desired sweetness is reached, the wine is centrifuged and bottled.
Expect notes of crisp green apple, fragrant vanilla, and citrusy elderflower. Natural acidity and a low pH balance the inherent sweetness, so the wine reads neither cloying nor heavy. Gluten free and vegan.
