Stella Rosa Imperiale Orange Moscato DOCG is a semi-sweet sparkling white wine from the northeastern province of Veneto. The Fior D'Arancio Moscato grapes come from specific family-cultivated vineyards in the Colli Euganei.
After harvest, the grapes are pressed, centrifuged, and held cold as juice at 28 degrees Fahrenheit. Fermentation takes place at intervals throughout the year to keep the wine fresh and delicate, with the alcohol and the wine's natural carbonation developing in tandem. Once the desired sweetness is reached, the wine is centrifuged and bottled. Natural acidity and a low pH balance the sweetness, so the wine reads as neither cloying nor heavy.
