Danish Smoke is built on 100% floor-malted barley grown near the distillery, kilned over locally cut heather and peat for a soft layer of smoke. The malt is double-distilled in direct-fired pot stills, a traditional method that gives the spirit weight and texture while keeping the smoke restrained rather than heavy. Maturation takes place across first-fill Bourbon barrels, fortified wine casks, and heavily charred new American oak.
The whisky opens with crisp orchard fruit before bonfire smoke drifts through, joined by citrus, honey, and a deeper note of tobacco. Alongside that sits a warm, complex character of oak, spice, and dried fruit, closing smooth and long. Bottled at 47% ABV in a 750 ml bottle, it reflects the barley, water, and weather of Denmark's West Coast.
