Description

Pernod Paris Liquour is a French liqueur bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. It stands as a successor of absinthe, the potent liquor popular in the 19th century.

Tasted neat, the exotic bouquet is potent and bittersweet, led by pungent aniseed and pronounced fennel over rooty liquorice. With the addition of water it turns milky-opaque, releasing more rooty herbal notes and carrying a long, licorice-like finish.

    About Pernod

Pernod creates elegant liqueurs crafted from natural ingredients for perfectly balanced sweetness and flavor. Henri Louis Pernod founded the first French absinthe distillery in Pontarlier in 1805, and the house of Pernod spans more than two centuries, from the first Maison Pernod-Fils distillery through the absinthe ban and La Belle Epoque. Following the prohibition and two years of research, Pernod recreated its distillery in Thuir and relaunched the original "Recette Traditionnelle" recipe inspired by a 19th century manuscript.
