Made from 100% rye and matured for at least 12 years in oak, Pendleton 1910 Rye Whisky carries the weight of extended barrel time in its structure. It is brought to 80 proof (40% ABV) with glacier-fed spring water drawn from Mt. Hood, the highest peak in Oregon, and takes its name from the Pendleton Round-Up, the rodeo tradition that has run for more than a century.
The pour is golden amber, with a full-bodied nose of nutmeg, cloves and a suggestion of dried pineapple. On the palate, muted tropical fruit meets apple and dried cherry, backed by nutty toffee undertones. The finish is medium and dry, with tart cherry holding on. 750 ml.
