Fable & Folly brings together the remaining stocks of several past Orphan Barrel releases: Barterhouse, Forged Oak and a range of Rhetoric bottlings, joined with a proprietary blend by the master blender. The result is a 14 year old American whiskey that carries the creamy character of those earlier marques while standing on its own.
The palate is full and complex, with subtly sweet toffee and hints of pepper spice, closing on a rich charred oak finish. Bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle, it's suited to drinking straight, neat or over ice.
