Built mainly from corn and run through continuous distillation, it carries a full, rounded sweetness and a texture that coats the palate. At 45% ABV in a 750 ml bottle, it reads as easygoing while still showing plenty of character.
The nose opens with tropical fruit, coconut and ripe banana. That sweetness follows through on a soft palate of vanilla wafer and gentle grain, with a delicate finish of honeyed citrus that hangs around. It works neat or as the base of classic whisky cocktails.
