Martell Cordon Bleu is an extra old cognac that has remained unchanged since 1912, and the first cognac to carry a name of its own. It is built from a blend of more than 100 eaux-de-vie, the majority selected from the Borderies region, which gives the liquid its richness, elegance and finesse.
Martell distills only clear wines, with all sediments removed, to preserve the fruity aromas of the grapes, and the spirit is double distilled for a complex, balanced result.
The nose is vibrant and rich, with candied plum and apple alongside roasted notes of mocha coffee, toasted almonds and vetiver. The palate follows with candied orange, honey and cinnamon. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 1 L bottle.
