Description

Jose Cuervo Tradicional Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila, double-distilled and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750 ml bottle. It is aged in charred American oak and then finished in Irish single malt whiskey barrels, giving the añejo a profile that draws on two spirits traditions.

The tequila is produced at La Rojeña, the oldest active distillery in the Western Hemisphere, following the methods established by José Antonio de Cuervo, including clay-oven agave roasting and copper still distillation.

Caramel in color, with aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, hazelnuts, toffee and baking spices. The palate shows complex spice notes and hints of tropical fruit, closing with a mellow, smooth finish of oaky vanilla. This set includes two Glencairn glasses.
