Just 1 in 10,000 casks from the company's reserves of ageing Scotch — among them stocks from long-closed 'ghost' distilleries — carry the depth of character required for this blend, which pours smooth and vibrant in the glass.
The flavour arrives in layers: rolling waves of rich spice give way to a deep surge of vanilla sweetness and honey, with caramel and hazelnut running through dark chocolate undertones. A long, smoky finish closes each sip. Preparing the palate with iced water beforehand is suggested to get the most from the whisky. Supplied as one 50 mL bottle at 40% ABV (80 proof).
