Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey is built on Mr. Jack Daniel's original recipe, with a smooth character that balances sweet and oaky flavors. The mash is made from corn, rye and barley malt, mixed with the iron-free water that flows from the Cave Spring on the distillery grounds.
Before aging, the whiskey is charcoal mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, the step that gives it its distinct smoothness. It then matures in handcrafted, charred white oak barrels until the distillery's tasters decide it is ready.
Orange-amber in the glass, with balanced caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. Medium bodied, creamy and clean. This is a 375 mL bottle at 40% alcohol by volume.
