Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto is a rosolio liqueur built around Calabrian bergamot, made with Italian ingredients drawn from across the peninsula. It bottles at 20% ABV (40 proof) in a 750 ml format, placing it among the lower-strength liqueurs.
The aroma and flavor are fresh, floral and aromatic, with citrus from bergamot oranges and Sicilian citrons. Alongside the citrus there is a light bitter edge and a note of floral spice.
Production follows the time-honored method known as Sfumatura, carried out at a family-owned distillery in Moncalieri, Torino, established in 1906.
