Hennessy Paradis was composed in 1979 by Maurice Fillioux, who selected eaux-de-vie that are round, light and supple. The result is a cognac built on grace and a silky character, with aromatic detail that shifts in fine gradations. Long years resting in old casks have given it a coppery gold color. The nose opens with jasmine and honeysuckle, joined by concentrated red fruit and refined spice.
The palate delivers a silky texture with honey, dried flowers, truffles and soft spices. Delicate cinnamon, cardamom and preserved fruits give way to perfumes of dried rose petals and sweet briar jam, leading to a flavourful, deep and persistent finish. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format.
