Hand Barrel Special Operations LTO is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from the brand's S.O.W.F Custom Series, offered as a limited time release in a 750 ml bottle at 52.5% ABV. This small batch expression brings two mash bill traditions together: a high rye recipe (64/24/12) and Bardstown Bourbon Company's high corn recipe (78/10/12).
The nose opens with vanilla and oak before moving into spiced warmth, with cinnamon and clove building across the palate. The texture is round and viscous, carrying waves of oaky caramel, butter and bursts of pepper that settle into honeyed sweetness with baked apple and cinnamon.
