Glenglassaugh Portsoy Highland Single Malt takes its name and its character from the neighbouring harbour village of Portsoy, whose maritime setting shapes the deep coastal flavour running through this richly peated whisky. It is bottled at 49.1% ABV in a 700 ml bottle.
Maturation takes place across sherry, bourbon and port casks, building a full-bodied single malt with a deep amber colour.
Tasting notes: dark chocolate and fermented soy lead into charred mango and treacle, finishing with a crack of sea salt.
