Aged for 13 years, this GlenAllachie single malt begins in bourbon casks before moving into Madeira wine casks for a second period of maturation. Bottled at 54.3% ABV in a 700 ml format, it brings together the maritime side of Islay with the sweeter, richer influence of Portuguese fortified wine.

The secondary cask adds depth without covering the distillery's own character. Expect peat smoke and sea salt alongside dried fruit, wine-soaked wood, spice and a mineral, coastal edge that runs through the whisky.
