Bottled to mark 135 years of bourbon-making at Four Roses, this limited small batch release draws on a hand-picked combination of the distillery's signature recipes. Varying yeast strains and barrel entry proofs are brought together in one blend, giving the whiskey layered character without losing the balance the distillery builds its bourbons around.
The result is a 54% ABV bourbon in a 750 ml bottle, with caramel and vanilla at the center, spice and oak filling out the middle, and a subtle fruitiness running underneath.
