Maturation happens high in the Cascade Mountain Range at 2,300 feet, where cold nights and hot days move the whiskey in and out of the barrel's charred interior. That constant swing acts as a natural in-barrel charcoal filtration, and the 750 ml bottle arrives at 92 proof, 46% ABV.
The nose leads with rich caramel and vanilla, backed by oak and toasted nuts. On the palate, butterscotch, oak, vanilla, and cherry come through in subtle layers, closing with a long, dry, sultry finish and a smooth sweetness that lingers.
