Named with the Latin word for paradise, Facundo Paraíso XA Premium Rum sits at the top of the Facundo Rum Collection. The senior BACARDÍ Maestros de Ron drew from the Bacardí family's most treasured stocks, choosing each rum by hand for the character it brought to the blend. Among them are some of the oldest and most sought-after rums in the house, matured for as long as 23 years in white oak barrels.
Once aging is complete, the selections are married together and left to rest in French XO casks, several of which are more than 60 years old. The result is a medium-bodied rum with a deep amber color and a notably smooth texture, carrying aromas of sweet molasses and vanilla with touches of tropical fruit and spice that lead to a rounded flavor. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
