Description
Chosen one cask at a time, El Tesoro Reposado Single Barrel Limited Edition Hombre Barrel Select comes from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave and rests in American oak. Because every barrel is bottled on its own, the character shifts from release to release, and this one pours a golden amber with aromas of fresh agave, toasted oak, vanilla and caramel.
The palate builds through baked agave, toasted spice, honey and a thread of citrus, with the weight held in check rather than pushed forward. It closes long and warming on sweet oak, soft pepper and vanilla. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, it suits drinkers who look for individuality in a reposado.
