Don Julio 70 Cristalino Tequila was the world's first Cristalino añejo, created to mark Don Julio González's 70th anniversary of tequila making. This 50 ml bottle offers the expression in a smaller serve at 40% ABV.
Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and aged 18 months in American white oak barrels, it is then charcoal filtered to strip away color while keeping the flavor intact, leaving a crystal-clear tequila with añejo complexity and a crisp finish.
On the palate it is smooth, with vanilla, toasted oak and honey, closing clean and crisp with notes of fresh agave. The producer suggests storing it in the freezer and serving it neat or on the rocks.
