Description

Don Julio 70th Cristalino Artist Edition Designed by Willy Chavarria 2025 is a limited-edition release of Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino, marking the 70th anniversary of Don Julio González. It is the second collaborative design from Mexican-American designer Willy Chavarria, whose signature roses are paired with reimagined Día de los Muertos motifs as a tribute to Mexican heritage.

The liquid inside is aged 18 months in American oak and then charcoal filtered, a method that strips the color while keeping the structure of an añejo. What remains is crystal clear, joining añejo depth and complexity with the bright, crisp agave character usually found in a blanco. Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino was awarded Gold at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

On the nose, rich vanilla, chocolate and caramel carry through to the palate, closing with a sweet aftertaste. One 750 ml bottle at 40% ABV, 80 proof.

    About Don Julio

Don Julio was founded in 1942 by Don Julio González, who set out with a single loan to make the world's finest tequila. At his distillery, La Primavera, in the Jaliscan Highlands of Mexico, he developed new methods and tended each agave plant individually so that only the best went into the bottle. The brand remains known worldwide for its smoothness and distinct flavor.
