A symphony of three distinct spirits all come together in this rye whiskey aged in three types of casks. Starting with a blend of two five-year rye whiskey mash bills finished in our ex-rum cask solera for an additional year, our blender then decided to take that product and play around with a few Añejo Tequila casks. Baked spiced pears, agave syrup, followed by white pepper, pineapple skins, and vanilla are notes that can be found in this well-rounded whiskey.
Doc Swinsons works in small batches, building rums around traditional maturation practices such as solera systems and selected cask aging. Its limited releases are made to show how much complexity rum can hold.
