Del Maguey San Jose Rio Minas comes from the extremely remote Northern Mixteca Alta region of Oaxaca. It is distilled from Espadín and Arroqueño agave in a rare clay and metal still, a combination that shapes the character of this Single Village Mezcal.
The aroma leads with papaya and ripe peaches, opening onto a gorgeous floral palate. Pepper notes and an herbal component close things out for a refreshing finish, with a smooth texture and balance throughout.
Bottled at 750 ml, 50% ABV (100 proof).
