Made from the giant maguey Arroqueño, the plant from which both Espadín and Azul descend, this mezcal is distilled in the clay stills of Santa Catarina Minas. It is bottled at 49% ABV in a 750 ml format.
The agave shows through in a smoky, earthy pour, with roasted agave at the center and citrus zest lifting the palate. A touch of minerality and pepper closes it out.
