Description

Creyente Joven is a mezcal made from 100% Espadín agave harvested in two regions of Oaxaca: Tlacolula, with its rich soils, and Yautepec, with its wild mountainous terrain. Blending agave from these contrasting landscapes is central to the character of the spirit, which is produced by traditional methods and distilled in small copper stills. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.

The mezcal is clear with bright copper hues and a full body. The aroma carries lingering smoky notes woven with sweet fruity traces, fresh oak wood, mesquite and light herbal hints. On the palate it is sweet and reminiscent of cooked agave, with pleasant smoke and hints of fruit, finishing smooth with a rich smoky mesquite wood flavor.

Creyente suggests it in the traditional way, accompanied by sal de gusano and a fresh orange wedge.
