This 2023 ‘Spanish Oak’ Limited Edition Release showcases some of the world’s most remarkable American single malt. Rare Quercus Robur Spanish oak casks that once held Pedro Ximènex and Oloroso sherries have nurtured the flavors of this exquisite single malt whiskey for over seven years in Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Virginia Distillery Company makes single malt whisky from a mash bill of 100% malted barley using fresh spring water from the Blue Ridge mountains. Distillation takes place in hand-hammered copper pot stills imported from Scotland. The whiskies age a minimum of four years in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and are finished in casks sourced from around the world and from Virginia, and the distillery partners with breweries nationwide for beer barrels.
