Caravella Orangecello Originale is an orange liqueur bottled at 28% ABV (56 proof) in a 750 ml bottle. It is made from the peels of Sicilian oranges soaked in pure grain alcohol with sugar and orange juice, giving a crisp, tangy and refreshing character.
The recipe comes from Paolo Sperone, whose family limoncello and orangecello recipes date back to 1898, and whose liqueurs were the world's first of their kind. Caravella suggests serving it on the rocks or neat, or mixing it into cocktails such as an Orange Spritz or Sicilian Spritz.
