Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel comes from a select group of barrels set aside by Bulleit's blenders, each made with one of the distillery's signature yeasts and one of its high-rye mash bills containing up to 36% rye. Every barrel is aged a minimum of eight years in new, charred American white oak, so the combination of mash bill, yeast and cask gives each one its own character.
The aroma opens with a gentle spiciness that moves into maple, oak and nutmeg. The finish is long, dry and satiny, closing with light toffee.
Bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof) in a 750 ml bottle.
