Banfi Castello Brunello di Montalcino 2018 is a Tuscan red made from 100% Sangiovese grown in the Montalcino region of Italy. It pours a brilliant ruby, with a complex bouquet of ripe cherries, blackberries, leather and tobacco.
The wine is aged a minimum of four years, including at least two years in oak barrels, which shapes its rich, full-bodied character. On the palate it is smooth and well-balanced, with red fruit, spice and a subtle hint of vanilla that lingers on the finish.
