Ardbeg Uigeadail is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 54.2% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. It takes its name from the loch that supplies the distillery's water.
The whisky is a vatting of spirit matured in ex-bourbon American oak, which carries the deep smoky side, with whisky from ex-Oloroso sherry casks that bring a rich, raisin-forward character. It is bottled without chill filtration, and the peat smoke sits alongside a sweetness and spice that balance it out.
On the palate it is long and chewy, with lingering raisin notes, deep mocha tones and rich aromatic smoke carrying into a fully integrated finish.
