Part of the Alma del Jaguar Barricas Series, this Añejo spends its maturation in Spanish oak casks that previously held Ruby Port. The result is a tequila with real depth, and another look at how wine barrels leave their mark on aged agave spirit.
Cooked agave leads, joined by ripe red fruit and berry, then chocolate and buttery caramel come through. The finish is smooth and rounded, carrying the sweetness typical of classic Ruby Port. Bottled at 44% ABV in 750 ml.
