Absolut Elyx is made entirely from winter wheat grown on a single estate — the family-owned Råbelöf Estate in Southern Sweden. The Swedish winter wheat grows for twice as long as regular wheat, giving the vodka its light, crisp character.
Each drop is distilled continuously and manually in a vintage copper column still dating from 1921. The palate is rich and well balanced, with a creaminess and a distinctly silky texture that carries into a long, smooth finish.
Bottled at 42.3% ABV (84.6 proof) in a 1 L bottle. Best served over ice or in a martini, where the character of the vodka comes through.
